How to Reset Your Tweaknews Usenet Password

If you’re having trouble accessing your Tweaknews Usenet service due to a forgotten or outdated password, you can reset it quickly through the customer portal. Resetting your password allows you to continue using your newsreader or other Usenet tools without interruption.

Step-by-Step Password Reset Instructions

  1. Visit the login page at https://www.tweaknews.eu/en/login

  2. Click the Lost Password link located below the login form

  1. Enter the email address you used during registration

  1. Follow the instructions in the email to reset your password

Choose a strong password that includes a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols. Once updated, use the new password in your newsreader or Usenet client to connect to the Tweaknews servers.

Finding Your Username

Your username is included in the welcome email sent when you first signed up. The email subject line is:

"Welcome to Tweaknews - Your Account Details"

Tweaknews usernames usually begin with “tw.” For example: tw1234567

If you’ve lost access to this email, log in to the customer portal using your email address and password. Then:

  1. Click on Members in the upper navigation to open the Member Dashboard

  2. Select the Subscriptions tab

  3. Your username will appear in the box on the left side of the screen

Using Your Credentials in a Newsreader

Once your password is reset and you’ve located your username, enter both when prompted by your newsreader. Make sure SSL is enabled to connect securely. Tweaknews provides high article retention and fast connections, accessible through proper login credentials.
